Hello lovely readers. Those of you who have been reading my blog recently will know that I have been working with The Bead Shop Manchester. I have given you a discount code for them, done a product review and two free tutorials from a mix of theirs (earrings and hairclip). Well now I'm hosting a giveaway from them! Very exciting!

As I reviewed one of their kumihimo kits in a previous post, I thought it would be lovely to giveaway a kumihimo kit plus a few extras. Here is what you will get if you win the giveaway (clicking on the links or pictures will take you too the product on The Bead Shop's website for more details):

A pack of extra bobbins (so you can do 16 strand braids)
5 extra Hook N Eye clasps

Kumihimo Seed Bead Bracelet Kit - TealBob-EEZ No-Tangle bobbinsHook N Eye ClaspsSwarovski 4mm Xilion Bicone Bead - Tropical Rainforest Mix

What do you think? Would you like to win this kit with extras?

I will use a random number generator to select the winner and then contact them over the weekend. I will then pass their details on to The Bead Shop, who will post their winnings directly to them. This giveaway is open worldwide. I will also edit this post to say who won. If I don't hear from back from you within a week, I will redraw the competition.

There are a couple of ways you can get an extra entry:

Pay-it-forward Giveaway

Hello lovely readers. Hope you are all well. I am good but considering hibernating till spring....did we miss autumn? Brrrrr!

Today's post is all about a pay-it-forward giveaway. I have entered a fab giveaway from the lovely Nancy of www.nedbeads.blogspot.co.uk. Because I'm going to get something from Nancy, I will be making goodies for three people. So who wants something from me? If you want to join in you must also agree to make something for 3 people within a year and they will have to agree to the same and so on, spreading the handmade love around!

I have no idea what I'll be making yet. Could be anything from a handmade card, to jewellery to decoration to who knows what! I'm not going to tell you what I'm making you either so hopefully it will be a lovely surprise when it arrives. I am happy to post worldwide.

So who wants to play? The first 3 people who comment saying they want to join in will get some sort of handmade item from me within the next 11 months (I was a bit of a slow coach actually getting this post up!)

Giveaway Time!

Hello lovely readers. Hope you are all well :o)

Time for a giveaway here on Damselfly Gemma. Technically this giveaway is celebrating the fact that I got my 100th sale over in my Folksy shop late last year...I've just been a bit late organising it!

I have decided to give away three heart themed pieces of jewellery as valentines day is approaching. This giveaway will run in a similar way to others I have had. I will do a draw for each item separately so you need to leave me a comment saying which of the three pieces you would like to win.

Here are you choices:

1) Frosted glass heart beads and sterling silver earrings

2) Blue resin drops with iridescent hearts and sterling silver earrings

 3) Pink glitter and black lace resin heart pendant with sterling silver bail

To enter:
Leave me a comment saying which of the three draws you would like to be entered in. One choice only please! Oh and make sure I have some way of contacting you if you win!

Open worldwide but as I will be paying the postage I will be sending the cheapest way possible ;o)

Closing date: 23.59pm Sunday 29th January (UK time)

GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED

Thanks to all that entered. I used a random number generator to select the winners (Elloria's Boutique, Charters and Say it Says). Congratulations :o)

Giveaway win two!

A couple or so of posts ago you may remember I mentioned I'd been very lucky and won 2 giveaways. Well on Friday my prize arrived from Jacqueline (of JAusten Jewellery Design). Jacqueline offered the winner a choice of a custom made piece of jewellery; a piece from her folksy shop; or a mystery prize. I chose the mystery prize option! And look at what she sent me!!! Its soooo yummy! I arranged a Christmas swap with Jacqueline a while back (through the folksy forums) for a pair of earrings- I have given the earrings to Phil to give back to me for Christmas. This necklace will match the earrings perfectly.

Jacqueline sells wonderful gemstone and precious metal jewellery from her folksy shop. Here are some of my faves from there- although dont hang about if you see something you like- Jacqueline's stuff sells REALLY quickly as its such high quality and VERY resonable- seriously- Jacqueline is selling thes goodies way too cheaply so grab them quick before she sees sense and puts her prices up to what they are worth!

Now I'm not a big jewellery buyer as I like to make my own, so although I happily admired Jacqueline's jewellery my bank balance was relatively safe...and then she opened a destash shop! Oh dear...my will power is taking some beating. I am still just about managing to be craft neutral (only spending money on crafts if I have sold things) but Jacqueline is really making that difficult. I haven't yet bought from her fab destash shop but have my eye on pretty much everything! Another place where people snap up her goodies the instant they are listed!

Thanks you so much Jacqueline for the wonderful necklace. And for being such a great supporter of us all in the list a day challenges on folksy.

ps. Just over 24 hours left to enter my giveaway if you haven't already done so.

Giveaway win!

I'm been a very lucky bunny recently. I've won 2 giveaways! Sorry for hogging all the luck- but I've made up for it a bit by holding my own giveaway...

Yesterday my wonderful prize from the fabulous Dawn (of Lilly's night garden) arrived. Dawn was offering the winner any notebook or any 2 of her gorgeous handmade cards from her folksy shop. I chose her peacock notebook. Dawn's cats then conspired against me and spilled her tea over it but Dawn very kindly and very quickly made me another. Isn't it yummy!!

Dawn sells wonderful cards, notebooks and diaries from her folksy shop. It was very difficult for me to choose as she has such gorgeous things there. Here are some of my favorites.

Thanks you so much Dawn for the wonderful notebook. I haven't decided what I'm going to use it for yet. Got to be something worthwhile of such beauty...

Look what I won!

The majority of my lovely readers probably know Natalie of NOfkants curios. (If you don't then pop along to her blog and folksy shop for fantastic knitted bags, gemstones, fossils and other fabulous bits and pieces.) Natalie is, quite frankly, amazing. She's a Mum and works and crafts and organises us folksy people into listing every day. She also keeps track of all our listings and encourages us and is constantly happy dancing when any of us get a sale. Not only that but she has great blog giveaways too.

I recently entered her gemstone giveaway and thanks to her son's ingenious method of selecting a winner, I won!! Such a lovely surprise. I was catching up with my blog reading and saw that little piece of paper with my name on it- made me a very happy bunny. Natalie gave me the choice of any of her gemstone keyrings in her shop. I love all gemstones and it was a tricky decision. Look at some of these beauties.

In the end I chose this stunning labradorite heart charm. It came beautifully wrapped and it even more wonderful in real life than any camera or computer screen can capture. I have decided to take the heart of the key chain and make it into a pendant though as I'll get much more wear out of it and can show it off!

Thank you soooooooooooooooooo much Natalie. Not only for the gorgeous labradorite heart, but for being generally wonderful and supportive and amazing. Super woman in disguise.
